Praising the Lord for a successful celebration on Saturday, Oct. 9th!
The celebration had a Hawaiian theme which many have contributed to its success. The church provided the food with pig on a spit, hungi (underground oven) with 5 whole chickens and some sweet potatoes; entertainment included worship in the evening and some Hawaiian songs during the day for entertainment; games were hosted in the church shed where they had donut contest, face painting and a shaving cream toss; a cafe in the church provided sit down fellowship with coffee, tea and biscuits; rides included merry go around for all ages and a jumping castle.
The church presented volunteers and leaders with New Life's logo t-shirts in appreciation to all that they have done. And, most of all we gave thanks to God for what He's done in the past, present and going to be doing in the future with New Life Christian Church.
